I’m going to read this book over break.
this song & movie makes me cry soo much.. omg :(
http://torontoist.com/2012/03/korean-pop-show-felt-weird-but-didnt-hurt/
you see this link? yeah, for those who went to the kpop show in toronto and whoever dubbed it as a “glowing” review I personally don’t think it is.
I read it and I felt as if the writer kind of generalized kpop as bubble-gum, upbeat, and a la 90s music with a mix of Gaga and Timbaland.
It pisses me off SO much when americans/canadians do this. I am an asian-canadian so before anyone thinks I’m racist or whatever I’m not.
Okay so here’s what I think is wrong with this “review” or “article”.
ughhhhhh, whoever is going to the 2k12 korea night is SO lucky.
I wanted to go so bad and support our idols (even the indie kpop bands!) but I’m too late, have no money, or bus fare…….
hope my fellow canadians give em a warm welcome and have fun T_T
I still wish some miracle happened, but I’ll just wait for big bang’s concert……..
sigh……..

Half of the people who died in the bombing were children. The youngest of whom was only seven. Two hundred and fifty people were left homeless. When the bomb was dropped, the firefighters were ordered to stand back and not do anything to help. Police shot people as they tried to escape. And while the city apologized and called the bombing “unconscionable” the only person who was ever criminally charged in the affair was Ramona Africa, the sole adult survivor of the bombing.
Seriously, every single American should be required to learn about the MOVE bombing.
While this is going around, probably worth adding that Ramona Africa is currently suffering from cancer and asking for help with medical fees, gofundme here: https://www.gofundme.com/helpsaveramonaafrica
